Publications by members of a network of this kind inevitably cover a broad range of topics and approaches. They range from monographs and articles in international peer-reviewed academic journals through to artist bookworks, creative texts and exhibition catalogues. Despite the diverse topics and particular inflections of individual publications, however, what they tend to have in common is a shared focus on looking for ways of opening out academic and artistic work in relation to topics such as memory, both urban and rural environments, place, and the role of testimonial imagination in the wider spheres of constituencies beyond our own specialist worlds.
